Aaron Cain is a 39 year old tattoo artist from Pacific Grove, California. He started experimenting for a while and then finally, in 1989, he started to tattoo professionally. The qualities that Cain likes to make sure stand out in his work are “graceful, sweeping shapes, the mix of both bold graphic elements and soft, realistic rendering, the use of contrast, negative space and dynamic color composition.” All of these are obviously apparent in his work. I personally think that Cain’s use of color is truly one of the greatest parts of his designs. He still continues to tattoo today and hopefully will for many years to come.
